Q1 I want to bring my pet snake and parrot to immigrate to mainland. What procedures do I need to go through?

A1 Mainland China Customs currently only allows cats and dogs to declare and pass customs. Exotic pets do not accept entry applications.

Q2  My pet has been re-injected with rabies vaccine. Do I need to wait 30 days to apply for immigration as mentioned online?

A2 China Customs has no hard and fast regulations on the injection time of rabies vaccine. Customs clearance is allowed within the validity period of the vaccine.

Q3 My doggy was injected with an AVID chip before he was 1 year old and does not meet the official requirements of the mainland. Will he not be able to apply for immigration procedures?
